Sure, it's good. Ryzen 7 5800 is a good CPU, performs like an Intel 11400F or so.

 

Since you're not sharing the price, no idea if you should buy it or not.

Yea that’s my bad my gf said she wants a pc and she literally just got this one without me looking at it yk I wanted her to get a prebuilt from a good manufacture and notBest Buy lol

It's not a bad machine at all, but value requires price.  So yes, it's good.  Is it worth it?  No clue.

 

Either way, a 5800 + 3060 are good for 1080p gaming to put it into perspective.

 

And yeah, let the matter drop if you know what's good for you.  Let her know she did good and bought a nice laptop.  End of story. Done.

Beg to differ. I have an older Lenovo H61 board going to the scrap heap because Lenovo insists on being proprietary to the point their machines will pitch a fit if everything isn't Lenovo-approved (if they run at all). Planned to recase two H61 SFF Lenovo boards (already had one) until I discovered $60 in adapters were required. Total of $90 including the second board. Bought two Intel H77 boards for $40 each. Before I discovered the proprietary headers, I'd already the discovered the board was limited to what GPUs it would support. I've found other users here alluding to BIOS errors running non-Lenovo coolers on Lenovo boards as well. I suspect CyberPowerPC does similar, as a previous CPPC rig fought upgrades tooth and nail.

 

@DemonSpec-wise, that's a decent rig in terms of GPU / CPU (I have a 5900X with an RTX3060ti myself), but I wouldn't pay over $1800 ($1000, sorry, didn't realize it was a Lenovo) as a holiday deal, depending on a few factors that aren't obvious here. But the other specs leave something to be desired, typical of retail machines that purposely limit performance promote upgrades, and worse, to make you go to the manufacturer, as per my Lenovo experience.

 

I managed to find the link ($1000 doesn't sound bad until you look at the other specs). Next time, post a link to the actual page so that real-world spec information and pricing can be seen. That is where it becomes a question of whether it's worth buying.

 

For not much over the Lenovo's presumed "holiday deal price", you can build with similar CPU / GPU with better storage / RAM and not have the typical "our way or no way" upgrade path. Example, I just priced a 5800X with an RTX3060ti-OC with 32GB of DDR4-3200, good cooling, 1TB M.2 and 2TB HDD with 32GB DDR4-3200 for $1500.

 

As for BadBuy, I haven't dealt with them for anything for myself since they screwed me over with a Sony Vaio that shipped with Vista. Lie, lie, and lie some more to get me to pay $1000 for that over the $800 Gateway. Most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. Asked about reverting Vista to XP, they burned me pirated copies of the install discs.
