Upgrades up for consideration

Current Build:

i5-4460

Asus B85m-R2

GTX 1050

Samsung 850 Evo 250GB

16GB RAM DDR3

Hyper 212 EVO

 

New Build

i5-12400

MSI B660

Samsung 980 1TB

16GB TForce RAM

 

My questions are what GPU should I pair it with the 12400 and should I upgrade from the 212 EVO or keep it?

 

PS. I already bought the LGA1700 mounting kit for the 212 EVO

The 12400 is not a hot chip, the 212 EVO is plenty of cooling.  That CPU can run any GPU you want, it just depends what you play and at what resolution and refresh rate.  If you are playing at 1080p high refresh rate the 6700xt is more than fast enough for anything at ultra (really it's fione for almost any game 1440p ultra with a high refresh rate), and they going for under $300 on eBay, or $340 new.  It'll need a 650ww PSU, though. 

 

A 6600xt would also be a huge upgrade and they go for about $200 on eBay, new prices aren't that great but it's a 10 month old GPU so eBay ones are barely used.  It can also run on a like a 550w or 500w PSU.

I play Genshin (don't roast me) and Persona 5 Royal (again, don't roast me).

Oh.  Why did you upgrade?  Your current system should run those games flawlessly.
