So, a little bit of backstory. About 6 months or so ago I decided to upgrade my 1080Ti to a 3080. I made sure my PSU could handle it (Corsair TX850M) in terms of wattage and everything else seemed perfectly fine.

Upgraded and everything went smoothly up until 2 weeks ago. I started getting system shutdowns in games and high intensive tasks after only a few minutes of doing them. Obviously, I googled my problem and everything seemed to point to my 5+ year old PSU. So, I bit the bullet and decided to go and buy the Corsair RM1000x PSU and swap it out.

Everything was working perfectly fine yesterday when I plugged it all up and gaming end everything worked as it should, until today. After a few hours of use, my screen went black and the PC shut itself down, just like it did before with the old PSU. And yet again, just like last time, l'm now getting no signal and a solid white VGA LED on my motherboard. iGPU on the mobo works perfectly fine, as does everything else. I'm starting to think that maybe this is an issue with the GPU itself but honestly, I have absolutely no idea. How can something work perfectly one day but break the next when nothing has changed? Please, if anyone has any help whatsoever, please let me know because l've tried everything can think of including reseating, CMOS reset, a swap of cables, etc.
