3060 isn't good for its price, you could get a better 6600XT/6650XT for less

Don't think you do 3D stuff or use Raytracing so you won't lose anything

5600X CPU will be fine with that tier of GPU

Are there any games, that you are currently struggling with? The 980ti is still a pretty good card. And while the 3060 is an pretty good upgrade, it isn't a super crazy upgrade.

I would rather save up a bit more and try to get a used 3070 or 3080, if they are cheap in your region or look at what AMD has to offer.

But you have to know, what you need. So if it feels right to you, it will perform pretty well for the next couple of years. And you can also use DLSS with the 3060, which the 980ti lacks.

Some games are struggling for example Red dead 2, Forza Horizon 5 and Warzone 2. I upgraded my cpu mb and gpu to play games at higher settings, because on my old gpu if i were to play games at ultra settings i would get 40 fps and my gpu will reach 93c and overheat, i got the new gpu today and so far im impressed it only reaches a high of 70c on full load at ultra.

I could but the shipping companies and post offices suck here thats why people here rarely use online shopping

So you got the card already? Then I hope you have fun with it.

Just a few notes, temperature alone doesn't really mean anything. And your 980ti overheating just means, that it requires maintenance. If you clean it and reapply some good thermal compound, it should run as good as new. It will also give you more performance again, as it wouldn't overheat anymore.

You could also look into undervolting/overclocking your new card, to make the experience even better.

I hope you give your old GPU some care. I think it could still make someone else pretty happy.
