Looking for new ram.

Go to solution Solved by Coolmaster,

You can put 32GB of ram in that board no problem, even 64GB if you wish. It supports up to 3400MHz ram. Here's the list of memory kits tested by ASUS with that board https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/Z170-K/Z170_DDR4_4DIMM_memory_QVL_report_201712.pdf those are just tested kits that are verified to work, non-tested ones will probably work fine as well.

I built my gaming computer 6 years ago, and it has more then met my needs. However, in the last year or so, I have been running into a ram bottle neck. The 8Gbs of ram I built it with, just aren't enough anymore. My motherboard is a: Asus Z170 Pro gaming. I want to upgrade to 32Gbs of ram, but the documentation I have been able to find, is out of date. So any information about currently available bands, that are, or are very likely to be compatible, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much! I was feeling a little lost before, but that was exactly the information I needed.
