Realtek audio effects not working.

Hey LTT,

I have an asus maximus vi hero and the HD audio driver comes with a program called realtek HD audio manager. There are effects such as bass boost and they used to work as soon as i enabled them but now they never work. Also when i'm in playback devices and go to properties on the realtek device, in the enhancement panel the check box labeled "disable audio enhancements" flickers. I have no clue how to fix this and any help would be appreciated.

Reinstall the drivers and try again. But honestly it's not worth the trouble. Those enhancements are usually pretty useless.

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.
