Okay so I want to upgrade my PCs power supple because I need a new graphics card. My current build is...

Motherboard- Asus Prime a320m-k

CPU- Ryzen 5 2600

Ram- Corsair Vengeance 8gb x2( 16gb in total)

GPU-GTX 1060 3gb

PSU- Seasonic 500w

The power supply I got is a Cooler Master MasterWatt 650w and the GPU I got is an RTX 2060. For some reason whenever I put my new power supply in it won't turn on at all. I know it works because the motherboard has a yellow light that turns on when plugged in but it won't actually boot. The old power supply works fine though, I'm able to boot and load up everything with the old one. I'm really confused and I watched a few videos on it and they said to maybe reset the CMOS which I don't really know how to do and they to said boot with one ram stick which I also tried and it didn't work.

If anyone can help me that would be great!

Did you make sure you pulled all of the old PSU wires out and only use the cables that came with the new power supply?

Here is a link on how to clear CMOS. I recommend the reseating the battery method.
