MB transfert now dead... No beep codes

jfdaigle

Hi,

I have an older system than I want to give to my parents to pay their bills.  I have a MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) with a core i5-2500k.  Not the newest stuff I know but more than enough for their use case....

Anyway, the system was working great for the past 12 years, no issue at all.  I took the MB out, left the cpu and Ram (4x4 gb) in and swapped my new parts.  I kept my case and PSU, gpu and tower cooler.

Now about 1 month later, i started building thier PC with my old parts.  Used their old case, bought a brand new cx450m psu, bought a used AMD RX550, put on the stock Intel heartsick (that I never used).....and nothing.

No beep codes, no display, nothing.

Here is what I tried:

Removed ram, used all the different slots.

Tests other ram,

Reseat cpu

Replugged my original psu
Tested the RX550 in my system and works
Tested with my GTX1080 ti (no video, no beep)

No RAM : 3 short beeps (so good...)

No GPU: 1 long beep + 2 short beeps ( so good too...)

Clear CMOS button

Clear CMOS jumper

Changed CMOS battery

Unpluged everything, USB, Sata...no beep

I'm confused.  Everything worked perfectly until last month.  The MB CPU and Ram are all the same...

Thank you for your help
