AMD and MicroATX

I'm looking to make a gaming build that will use the MicroATX form factor. I want to make it an AMD build and use a FX 8320 but there are barely any AM3+ MicroATX boards and most of them have bad reviews. But there are lots of FM2+ MicroATX mobos for gaming. So am I better off getting a Athlon X4 760k and overclocking it or getting a FX 8320 and one of the iffy mobos?

from athlon to fx is a long journey. so no you are not better off getting an athlon over FX . if you have a weak gpu ,yeah. go with intel if you want small form factor

Intel is always recommended in m-builds unless you have a lower end graphics card.

Get something such as a 4670K and a MSI GAMING M-ATX motherboard. You will see similar if not better gaming performance for (I think?) the same price point. 

Also slap in something like a GTX 770 or GTX 780 and you'll have a great 1080p gaming experience

if you don`t want to overclock ,i3 4130 or i5 4440 are very good gaming.if you want to oc, look at a K cpu and z87 board

Let me rephrase the question then. Are there any good AM3+ MicroATX boards that would support a FX 8320 and would be able to overclock it?

Unless you are really pushing on AMD and MATX and would die in a hole if you had an ATX AMD system, you should just go ATX. *cough more expansion slots cough*

 

If you really need M-ATX go INtel.

I really need the MATX so I will proabably be going Intel then. Are there any good Intel cpus for budget gaming?

i3 4130 or i5 4440 . both can be paired with better gpus than the 270X anyway,very good cpus for gaming.
