Ryzen 5 CPU Decision Help

Go to solution Solved by PDifolco,

Best value is 5600

5600X is 20% more expensive for not even +10% performance

5600G is slowest of the 3 (and is PCie3 only), and you pay for an iGPU you won't need

Budget (including currency): £200

Country: England

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: To play a wide range of game genres from fps to strategy and everything in between also for streaming

Other details: Motherboard - Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2, Ram - G. Skill Trident Z Neo 32 GB

okay so I'm trying to decide between 3 very similar CPUs Ryzen 5 5600 for £139.00, Ryzen 5 5600G for £125.99 and the Ryzen 5 5600X for £164.75, but I can't decide which is actually the best values for my money, so I'm hoping someone can help me with this decision and some info into why you'd choose that CPU out of the 3 thanks in advance for any help with making this decision.

Thank you I did not know that the 5600g didn't get PCIe 4 support that would have made it so much easier to decide
