Does overclocking Nvidia card affect GPU Boost clock?

So last month I got my first ever nvidia card, an evga 750 Ti FTW, after have 5 amd cards previously. Now in the amd world all you do for overclocking is move the sliders until stuff starts going crazy. But with nvidia you have gpu boost, and I have no idea how it works with overclocking. I increase the core clock by 12 mhz, but the boost clock doesn't seem to go up past its default when I put the card under load. Is this normal, or am I not putting enough load on the card, or can you not effect boost clock past factory defaults? Maybe the 750 ti doesn't support gpu boost overclocking, but in high end nvidia cards does the boost clock increase with the raising of the core clock?

I believe so. When I used EVGA Precision X and I OC'd, it showed my Boost Clocking raising as well

Sometimes you have to overclock a bit more than 12 MHZ for the boost clock to change, try 15 mhz.

Yes, I think it does raise your boost, don't quote me though, I don't own one and haven't done any substantial overclocking on them.

Yes, if you increase your base clock, the boost clock also goes up.
