SAMSUNG software issue

So after I have updated the phone I have been getting some issues. My phones media volume randomly stops working so speaker does not work but my phone speaker works (the small one on the screen). Then like 1 hour ago my phone got a notification that it was overheating even tho it wasn't even mildly hot to touch, I know what Im saying because when I use fast charging you can really feel the heat but it was literally cold at thw time of the notification. Could this be a software issue or is my phone just malfunctioning for some hardware problem?
