Over the past 1-2 weeks my laptop has been getting quite more and more. when i click google half the time it wont load, when i click icons for games they just wont load or any thing, and im getting error's from AMD Catalyst. is there ANY thing i can do besides resetting cause of my internet i wouldn't get any of my games back in weeks

lol i think it was Catalyst has stoped responding

Download and install CCleaner. It's short for Crap Cleaner and that's literally what it does, it cleans the crap out of your computer. Works wonders on slowed down machines.

 

That might not be what's causing your problems, but it's worth a shot and good practice to clean it out anyway.

ok will try that but my temps are all fine :D and i have used up about 60% of my HDD XD

You posted this in the wrong section with insufficient information - but here we go; run an antivirus-scan and throw some old stuff away, free some disc space. If none of that works then come back. Also check your temperatures, sometimes machines lock up because of overheating.

Wrong section? The troubleshooting section is the correct section.

 

 

I agree with Conelton, download CCleaner and run the normal cleaner (first tab) and the registry cleaner and see if that helps.

did that but nothing has changed my comp is faster and more HDD room but still the same problems

uninstall the gfx drivers and install new 1s. get them from the link in ccc pannel/info.

or directly from the amd site.

just enter the details of the hardware and click display results.

i havent been able to fix it so im just going to have to reset and not play games for weeks XD

First get the latest chipset and vga drivers, then download AMD removal tool, to get rid of all the AMD software, chipset and vga drivers, reboot your machine, first install the chipset, reboot, vga drivers, then reboot one last time. Hope this helps.
