Hi Guys.

 

I run a bunch of virtual machines on old G8 HP Proliant DL380's but im currently looking into getting 1U Racks with custom hardware. 

such as AMD Processor, DDR5 Memory and 4x NVME SSD's in RAID 10. with a running hypervisor either ESXI or Proxmox

 

what is your feel around this? and which harware would suffice for this. what would you do?
