SSD not showing up

I just built a new pc and installed two ssds. They're the same brand and model, one is 1TB and the other is 500GB. When I installed Windows, it showed both as an option to boot with, but after I chose the 500GB to boot with, the other one hasn't shown up since. It doesn't appear in disk manager. The BIOS shows both ssds but says the 1TB is 'not detected'. Anyone have any ideas?

I would try moving them around physically, i.e. other slots on the mainboard or possibly another computer entirely.

Is that the partition utility? It's been a while since I messed around with that, but I remember it as being fairly capable.

Are these sata or nvme SSDs?

Yeah, that's the windows partition manager.

They're nvme.

I honestly can't tell if the BIOS detects them or not. The mobo software app shows both of them.
