PCIe extension cable

Go to solution Solved by ZetZet,

You will have to select Gen4 PCIe in BIOS and it will work in Gen4. Which is not an issue, considering the card is Gen4.

I don't think Gen5 extensions exist, because of signal integrity issues.

Hi everyone, one question. I'm building a new pc with a mobo that have PCIe gen 5 x16 and rtx 3060. I want to mount the GPU vertically but all i could find on the internet is a PCIe extenson cale 16x gen 4 . This will create some kinf of compatibility problem between mobo and gpu? or it will work just fine?

Thanks
