Suggestions for wireless setup

So I am moving into a place this summer and need a good fairly cheap solution (only using it for 2 months) for my desktop to connect to the network I have a decent wireless router but it is kinda far away more than 200 feet. Currently and over the normal year I use Ethernet.  I am open to any suggestions. Please help!

You could use an old PC (if you have one) as a router by setting up PFsense.

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory
