Budget (including currency): 50/60k Bdt

Country: Bangladesh

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FTL ,Valorant , fusion360 , Photoshop , Blender , Metlab , VScode .

Other details : Are the parts selected in the photo okay or did i made a bottleneck somewhere ? Specifically worried about the psu . Might put a mid tier gpu later along the line so , is cx450m enough ? Theres cv550 and thermaltake 550w psu in the budget but heard a lot people saying not to buy cv series !?

And are there any way to maximize the current build ? As in different mobo /ram/ssd .

any help , greatly appreciated.

Been using dell e7240 2014 past 4 years , but it died due to capacitor shortage and that led to death of power ic . Im planing to use the old keyboard and mouse (gigabyte k81+pwm3360 based chinese deathadder ripoff ) , so no need for new ones . And as for monitor , will probably buy a Chinese 22 inch one for 5k and later add a 144hz one .

The PSU will be sufficient as long as you dont add a GPU above something like a RTX 3050/3060 class.

The RAM are best to buy in kits of two, in stead of two singles.

You will probably be fine as it is, but sometimes the manufacturers changes some of the components between production runs of the same model. This can cause issues sometimes.

With kits of two or more you are guaranteed they are the same

Thank you .

I will probably use something like a 1660 or 2060 , if i ever use one .

And they dont sell vengeance kit in our country. The few kits you can find are the overpriced rgb one's. I'll check before buying (3200mhz+8gb+cl16).

And whats your opinion on msi vs asus boards . Do you know which one's more robust and less likely to shit their pants ?

As long as you dont go for the bottom barrel ones, they are both good in general and will last the lifetime of the build. Its more a matter of preference and they have the features you need

Understood.

And another question, do you know the difference between global mobo version vs chinese version ? Like whats the actual difference? Different bios language? Or cheaper build quality? Why is the chinese version so cheap , even tho both have same spec .

Really loved the mag b550m , but the global version is a bit out of budget for me 😞

I have no idea. as you say the spec are the same, even the "units sold" are the same and that smells iffy to me. Only thing different are the product code and the price

maybe the "china" version are some that "fell off the back of a truck" or, maybe they were sourced directly from the factory in stead of a retailer. who knows

Man , I've been looking for an answer for a while now . If there's not problem with a chinese release, then i would gladly buy one , but cant seem to find any solid answers anywhere. The most i found was some guy saying , just don't buy it because what it "might" be , rather than for what is really is.

Still , thank you very much for your input ❤️
