So I already have one monitor in my present setup. Next summer, I’m going to be moving downstairs and will buy a second and better (1440p) monitor. But, I’m not sure whether or not to wall mount both of them using some kind of small tv mount or to just get a multi-arm desk mount. Yes I know a multi-arm mount would let me adjust the height of the monitor, unlike the wall mount arm.

So what is the question here... Whether or not you should wall mount is completely on you, we don't know how you like to use your monitor, whether they gets moved sometimes, or maybe you want to drill or can't drill the wall.

The most effortless and flexible way is to have them on monitor arms.

Occassionaly visits the forum when I have nothing to do at work.

Since when? Of course they do.

I’m not going to be moving it much (maybe a slight height adjustment or a little swivel but nothing more). Another reason I’m asking this question is because of “rage moments”. I play valorant (yes, I don’t touch grass that often) and I rage from time to time (*insert desk slamming noises*). Moreover, the monitor wall mount cost less than a good quality multi-arm monitor mount.

Well, not the one I was initially going to get. The wall mount looks something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00ZKFRKIU/?coliid=IVN0PZCHGOC46&colid=1F6QD3CED4WYV&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

I’ve yet to decide which multi-arm monitor mount I want to choose (if I do choose one ofc)

I will not wall mount for a monitor if normal PC usage is required as this removed the flexibility.

If it is only purpose for watching movie only like your title streaming setup, wall mount is OK and it look nice and neat.
