Hi,

Dunno if this is the right place but I really need help please.

Just finished building my first pc, tried activating xmp, then stress test with prime95, immediately crushed.

Updated bios, didn't help so I adjusted memory multipler to 60 instead of 64.

It run prime95 and aida64 for like 4 hours no problem.

Tried installing Sims 4 with all dlc, blue screen, tried again blue screen, every time. Diffrent error.

I tried installing diffrent game and it works, I really hope it's just an edge case with Sims and not my system 馃槥

I have no clue what to do, please help.

7900x, x670e aorus Master, ddr5 32gb 6400 (under clocked to 6000) cl32, mp600 pro xt

I think I built everything right, stress test goes OK, what to do? Please help, I'm out of idea's. 馃槥

P.S

Sims 4 is for my GF, I know the pc is overkill for it lol

Sounds like you may want to back your mem settings to default, test sims 4 specifically for stability, if the crash doesn't happen you know the root issue and can slowly bump up the settings to maximum stability. If the crash lingers, you know its not the memory so you'll have to look elsewhere.

just did that and sims 4 installed no problem but then i reactive the xmp profile changed the memory multiplier back to 60 and tried installing again and it worked 馃槥 so confusing. it didnt work like 6 times before.

edit:

well i tried installing again and it stuck and then blue screens like before, no clue.

this time i got watchdog error.

and then again and it worked 馃槥

second edit:

now again i gotten kmode error.

so it may be that when i deactivated xmp, it just randomly worked like it worked now.

any suggestions please?

here is the blue screen error details:

Can you turn off the iGPU in the BIOS?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

yea that didnt help, all the bsod errors seemed to be related to the amd/nvidia drivers but deleting those and reinstalling didnt help, so i reinstalled windows and everything and now atleast for now seems good so i have no clue what caused the issue but it seems to be solved 馃檪
