Adding more ssd:s to your system

So I'm pretty new with custom pc's and I thought that I should ask you guys. So, I'm just making sure will it work if I add an extra 120/240gb ssd to run with my 120g hyperx. I have the asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard so i think it should be possible.

They must be the same size as the primary ssd or hdd. Then you have to put them in Raid 1 or 0

you can add any and all sized ssd as long as you have sata data and sata power. add a cheap larger secondary like that cheapo samsung evo 500gb. an all ssd system is nice

I'm just going for more memory, performance really doesn't concern me. do two drives always have to run in raid 0 or 1?

If You're Going for memory i wouldnt bother with RAID just add another drive and you'll be fine.

What do you mean?? You don't HAVE to Raid at all.
