power delivery is ok, I wouldn't put my cpu in it, but it's a 970 chipset which isn't great for overclocking, instability at over 4.5ghz is almost guaranteed on that board as well because it's power delivery will hold up, but it just cannot produce enough power for a good 8350 overclock. but I'm gonna not derail this thread anymore.

So far, with the ridiculously limited info we've been given, I can only recommend one thing for a good OC'ing motherboard sub-$100. And that is, go with ASUS or Gigabyte. That's not to say there aren't other good OC'ing boards at that budget, such as iterations from MSI.

More details = more advice.

mate as u know this much u may also know that it depends upon the chip too...i agree u cant go higher with 970 but still it depends upon others factor too...and i dont think it will make a lot of difference if u get a higher board..

You're joking right? If you have a shit chip then yes you will get shit OCing, but a better board can deliver more power, while producing less heat and being more stable...this will allow for a higher oc on a shit chip.
