With the amount of new, giant tablets coming out (Vaio tap 20, transformer aio) , has anyone considered using one of them as an external monitor to a laptop when not at home? I know these tablets are designed for use at home but I think an awsome application would be to hook up my laptop to a giant tablet when at the library for example and get semi-portable dual monitiors. At this point the tablets are a bit on the heavy and big side but what if they made a 15in tablet that weighs around 5 pounds. Is there an application to do this.

might be possible only thru local network,

many tablets can stream HD movies into a TV with ethernet connection

so I think it still might be possible and succesful app, even with a ittle lag

it could be a huge software improvement
