I have been really stuck on deciding between the Corsair 4000D & the Lian Li LanCool II Mesh
I've done extensive research on both of them and came to the conclusions that I would have to deal with ether:

More dust (LanCool)
or
Having only one type A USB on the front panel and unable to use type C cause MOBO I chose (4000D)

I only have a couple of days to decide to keep the Corsair Case and I would have to wait a another month for the LanCool Case to be restocked. I've been thinking about for too long now and need help deciding.
The mentality I had was "What would be best in the long run"

Judging by what I said above, what do you think is my best bet? Thanks.

As someone who has an airflow type case, the P360A, the dust is not that bad. I mean the smallest dust particles will always get in, but that is an easy clean up job with compressed air tools/cans.

Depending on the hardware you will run, the case performance wouldn't matter all that much, only super power hungry air cooled components need great case airflow performance.

To that end, I say that you should choose whichever looks best to you, I like my case, the performance for the price is very good, but sometimes I wish I got a better looking case.

If you plan to put the case on the floor where you could barely see them, then pick whichever has more feature or performance.

Occassionaly visits the forum when I have nothing to do at work.

I assume this is the regular 4000D then and not the 4000D airflow?  Then my choice would be the Lian Li.  I would always learn towards the one that will offer better cooking performance.

That being said if you already have the 4000D, why not just use it?  You can get USB C to 3.0 adapters if you want to make the USB C port work as a "regular" USB port if you want.

As for the dust, it's not that bad. It depends on your environment some. However the first thing I do is pull every filter out of my cases as they are technically a restriction.  I just clean out my PC every so often. It's not that bad.

I have the 4000D Airflow. Why not just use it? Just me trying to make it "perfect" even though that's impossible. I have a tough time making decisions, over think a lot.

I know there are adapters, it kinda bothers me to have the Type-C running lower than it's advertised speed is all.

I do have two big dogs that can shed a lot they don't usually come in my room though. The ventilation in my room isn't the best I think, when sunlight is peering through I can see a lot of particles floating around. The size of my room and the way things are oriented the air vent is under my bed.

I've thought about it and It bothers me more to have dust getting in my Case. Do you think I should stick with the 4000D since it has a front intake dust filter. What do you think of adding a front dust filter in the Lian Li Case, would it restrict too much Airflow?
