Budget (including currency): $1500 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly Rocket League but I like a variety of games. Will also be using it for schoolwork, a CS student interested in developing games, using programs like Unity and Blender.

Other details: I found some bundles in Newegg for GPU + Monitor and CPU + Motherboard. Here's my parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZhJ33y

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ what I did here is improved performance while saving money that will be about 25% faster at 1440p I went for a 6800 as they are way better value right now but if you really need an Nvidia card you can go 3070 just keep in mind you are losing performance.

The CPU cooler is inadequate.

An i5-12600K has similar performance to an i9-11900K.

New AMD and Intel CPU should be available next month.

Gigabyte recommends at least a 650W PSU for the GPU.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
