Random GSoD (Green Screen of Death). Suspected culprits from my very little knowledge of these issues based on event viewer and a dump file are Ubisoft Connect or Bonjour Service

  • OS - Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista ? Windows 11 Pro Version 21H2, OS Build 22000.978, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.978.0
  • x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
  • What OS was originaly installed on the system? Windows 11 Pro Insider Build (Previously Insider build, recently did a fresh reset to the release build of Windows 11 Pro x64)
  • Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from a retailer)? Full retail version
  • Age of system (hardware) - About 4 years
  • Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? Recently reinstalled. Install date 08/31/2022
  • CPU model - AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT
  • Video Card model - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080, MSI Gaming X Trio
  • MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop) - MSI Meg Ace (MS-7C35)
  • RAM - 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 3600MHz
  • Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this) - EVGA Supernove 850 G+ (850W)
  • System Manufacturer - N/A
  • Exact model number (if OEM or laptop) - N/A
  • Laptop or Desktop - Desktop, home-built
  • Extra info - Antivirus installed - Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office
  • Extra info - DxDiag.txt attached if that is helpful
  • Extra info - Already tried sfc /scannow, Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image (/ScanHealth, /CheckHealth, and /RestoreHealth)
  • Extra info - Before switching from Win11 insider build to the release build, this issue didn't exist. My setup was unchanged and most of the same software was the same, yet I didn't encounter a single BSOD/GSOD
  • minidump.zip - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O42nwXmjXnIDrELsvK1NgwHf2D2ppKZb/view?usp=sharing
  • SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ms_LqiM3uG6qCAMdIYBd5HfPQPsQQvjo/view?usp=sharing
  • PERFMON output not included, perfmon kept running and would not allow me to "save as...". Running it for longer to see if I can get an output and will add it to my post if it succeeds. EDIT: After running for an hour still not finished and unable to save.
  • MEMORY.DMP also available, but it is a large file, around 6.4GB, can upload a link to a zip if needed.
  • All of this was done a few hours after the most recent crash because it happened while I was asleep. If it occurs again I will update links and logs.

Help with this would be appreciated more than you know, I really don't want to have to reinstall Windows, again, and likely have the same issue.

What is your Ram kit? Is XMP enabled?

I get this error if i run my 3800x with my 3600mhz 2x16 kit of Gskill, and it stops happening if i just set the speed of the ram to 3200. If not at XMP then a few more diagnosing steps for the memory will be needed, probably a memtest.

I will add my RAM kit to the post. It's not Intel, so XMP isn't a thing, but I beleive X-amp is on. I will check as well as working on doing a memtest. I would prefer to locate the problem rather than undrclock my RAM. AMD CPU peformance is tied to RAM performance.

Edit: RAM added

I use the exact same cpu, and this is pretty much one of the ways to test to see if its the cause of the issue. It barely reduces performance, and ill take stability over a minor losses. Again if it doesnt fix the problem when you reduce it to 3200 mhz, then check 3000, and if after that its stable, you know its either the Ram kit, the CPU, or the memory topology of the board. IMC on ryzen 3000/5000 can be quite finicky and particular, Especially with 4 sticks of ram. I would suggest you at least try it.

RAM - 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Vengence 3600MHz

Most vengeance outside of the Vengeance RGB Pro lineup is barely stable at 3000 series or below at 3200mhz, the memory controller in the older Zen is that tempramental. If you dont wanna cut speed, try to loosen your CAS latency or increase voltage.

I made a mistake, it's Dominator Platinum RGB 3600MHz ram not vengence. Updating the post. I will try some of this, trouble is the crashes are about a week apart and seemingly random, so I won't know unless it stays stable for upwards of a month.

With my correction that it is Dominator Platinum RGB, is this still your recommendation, and if so what latency/voltage adjustments would you recommend. That's not something I ever usually mess with.

Also doesn't make very much sense for it to be a hardware issue if I was running on the insider build previously for 6 months+ without a single crash. I fully accept that I'm not at the level of tech knowledge to know for sure, but I am highly suspicious this is a software issue.
