Issue with secondhand dk2108 media-keys

I recently bought a cheap secondhand Ducky Zero DK2108, but it seems that the media-keys at the top-right of the keyboard don't work.

Everything else works just fine.

 

I also attempted to test the keyboard on another computer, but that didn't make a difference.

 

 

there doesn't seem to be any visible damage, but I haven't opened it up yet. I'm hoping this might just be a firmware issue, or some setting on my pc.

Unfortunately I have not been able to find much information about this specific issue on google.

 

Has anybody else had this problem? Is it even possible to update the firmware of this keyboard?
