Hey guys, just wanted to share my overclock settings and wanted to know your opinions.

So, these are my settings:

CPU: i7-4770k @ 4,2Ghz (Capable of 5,0Ghz), No Voltage increase needed

GPUs: 2x R9-290 Core: 1,175 Ghz (Capable of more), Mem: 1,625 Ghz, Voltage: +83, Powerlimit: +50%

These gpus are a freaking leafblower, once my wc stuff arrives i'll start overclocking again and tell you the results.

Wish me luck with my third r9 290, hope its also a good overclocker :3

Edit: Here's an older benchmark: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/1929066

My Rig "Jenova" Ryzen 7 3900X with EK Supremacy Elite, RTX3090 with EK Fullcover Acetal + Nickel & EK Backplate, Corsair AX1200i (sleeved), ASUS X570-E, 4x 8gb Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3800MHz 16CL, 500gb Samsung 980 Pro, Raijintek Paean

You might think that CPU is not taking any increased voltage but if the default is adaptive mode, as is the case with most Haswell boards, then it automatically raises voltages as it sees fit. CPU-z won't tell you if the VCore has increased, it just tells you the set voltage applied automatically by the board when you go from max turbo of 3.9 GHz to 4.2 GHz.

Those GPU clocks are very nice for air, I won't even ask how hot they get (especially the VRMs) since you are going to watercool soon but good stuff :D

I've not increased the voltage manually on the cpu, that's what I was trying to say, I can check later with a voltagemeter if it does increases though ( I'm currently at work ).

To the temperature or the gpus, when gaming the temps are around 89°C on the reference one and 79°C on the Sapphire Tri-X one. The only problem I currently have is, the drivers, damn amd, they suck atm. Once the drivers are optimized I'll have even more headroom for oc :D

13.12 work pretty "decent" for overclocking, 14.X has the powertune bug, 14.4 throttles card when in crossfire. I just want a performance driver :/

I use afterburner, problem with the 14.X drivers: Powerlimit resets to 0%

Problems everywhere^^
