My First computer build currently is not working as intended and after booting up it constantly freezes and bluescreens on me whenever i attempt to download drivers for my graphics card, motherboard, PCIe wifi adapter and even when i don't touch anything.
The parts consist of:
GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600
Ryzen 5 5600x
2x Corsair 8gb 3200mhz RAM CMK16X4M2B3200C16
GIGABYTE Aorus b450 elite v2 motherboard
Corsair 850x watt power supply
4TB HDD
450GB SSD
Tp-Link Archer TX55E Wifi PCIe adapter
Corsair Carbide Spec Delta Mid-Tower Case

I've already updated the BIOS to work with my Ryzen 5 but ive attempted to do windows updates
and other updates only to be repeated with the same bluescreen or freeze.
I have also gotten a small amount of thermal paste onto the pins of the motherboard and CPU before but
I've managed to clean them both off with a soft bristle toothbrush and 70% Isopropyl alchohol.
Though even before and after cleaning them off this problem still persists.

i'll check again to see if i managed to get the thermal paste fully off. But for the thermal paste in the AM4 Socket is there a better option for getting it off in there? Again ive mainly just been using the same method as i have been using for the cpu

The RAM SKU mentioned is not on Gigabyte's RAM QVL list for that board. Might be causing stability issues that are contributing. Mine was doing stupid stuff like that (mostly a no-video POST fail every 8-10 cold boots) until I figured it out after five months.... After replacing my RAM with QVL approved for my board, my rig runs perfectly now. Solved issues on another test machine too.

Here's a link to the list of approved RAM for Vermeer processors with the board you mentioned....
