You think they're stupid but you like the idea of them?

Did you just not like the offerings at CES?

he doesn't like the idea of curved TV's, from which you're going to be a minimum of 10 ft away and whose curvature won't make a difference unless you buy a 50" or larger TV, a monitor where you're right next to it makes much more sense as the curvature will actually help it fill up your field of vision.

Well, curved TVs aren't just at CES, though I don't know where you live, here in Florida they are all over the place in brick n mortar stores. HHGregg, BestBuy, etc. HHGregg has like 5 differen't ones. They're mostly curved OLEDS, though; so very pricey.

And to that end, although curved monitors would be great in every way IMO, the problem is being that they are OLEDS and very expensive right now, a 19" Curved OLED Monitor would probably run like $600, lol. Considering the TVs are at around $5K-10K for 55"-65".

So to your question, say they released a 24" curved monitor tomorrow.. Would you pay roughly $1,100 for it?

Im waiting for them to drop in price then i will get 3 and replace my eyefinity with them, I do believe they will really shine in those applications, however i am gonna do like 46" Displays if i do that. because while i am blowing money might as well go as big as possible before i run out of space.

Thanks Guys! Fullmetal
