PC Randomly Stutters

Hey yall!

Basically as the title says, my PC will randomly stutter where the audio becomes kind of robotic and the screen lags for a split second. This can happen once a week or a couple times a week. I use my PC almost daily and every night and it's not that big of a concern but I am curious on what yalls thoughts are.

The PC was built a couple months ago and I am using an old, placeholder Gigabyte 1060 6gb GPU, which could be the culprit.

It also doesn't have a trigger to it, it can happen randomly when I am in a game or in idle when I boot up my PC.

Any insight would be great, I plan on replacing the GPU in the coming months regardless.

32gb RAM
MSI Gaming Edge WiFi MB
Gigabyte 1060 6gb

I had some issues with the PC when it was first built where my CPU would go into low power mode and reboot the PC. I managed to fix this by going into the Bios and turning off Global C-state. Felt like mentioning this just in case.

A good early check would be to check your RAM's SKU (part #) against the board's QVL list. I had RAM that wasn't QVL'd and it turned out to be the cause of random POST failures. Replacing it has improved my gaming experience also. Interestingly, the DIMMs tested fine, but failed in another system two weeks after the board was thought to be suspect and RMA'd. And other than my biggest issue with a random POST failure with no video and no debug light, the system seemed to run fine. But it runs a hell of a lot better since replacing the RAM with a kit from the board's QVL list. Night and day.
