Hi everyone!

Working at an office all day (and obviously gamin on my personal rig afterwards) is kind of forcing me into using a mouse all the time...

Has anyone got the Carpio? Either 1st or 2nd edition (hopefully 2nd) and can recommend it? Or even not, I honestly want to know if it's worth the cash

(And yes, know about vertical mice but in my line of work I can't really get one for my office and I'm looking for a solution that I can use both at home and at work)

By “the carpio” I assume you mean carpal tunnel?  Carpal tunnel is a RSI.  Repetitive Stress Injury.  RSI has been a problem in industry for hundreds of years.  So the solution is to vary things.  Doesn’t need to be very much.  Put your keyboard closer or farther from you.  Vary your chair height a bit.  The inflamed bits just need a bit of time off.  In the 2000s people were buying wild ergonomic keyboards.  And that does work.  But it’s much more expensive than varying your chair height a bit.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

The topic of the thread is “peripherals”. If it’s not it’s not.  Sounded a lot like a carpal tunnel problem.  There used to be a bunch of peripherals for that but they’re all gone now.  These days if your hand hurts you just move your keyboard a bit or change your chair height.  Had a friend who actually bought one of those “cup” keyboards.  I forget the name.  You seem em in science fiction shows occasionally.  Thing cost $300.  He threw it away.  It had become effectively useless and he couldn’t even sell it.
