GPU Not displaying

Iceykiid

So I was watching a discord stream last night when my displays just went black, my GPU fans started spinning at like 100% and since then I cannot get my GPU to output any signal to any monitor. I've had this issue once before and I didnt do anything specific to fix it, it just started working again 1 day but there must be more of an explanation if its happening again. It's a RTX 2060 GPU

if you have a IGPU on the cpu or a 2nd gpu to install i would:
DDU and reinstall drivers.

fans going at 100% is probably an indication that it overheated, i would replace the thermal paste.

It's a RTX 2060 so not an IGPU, I dont currently have a 2nd GPU to install but the previous time this happened I used my friends and it worked fine but stopped again when I put mine back in.

Abt the thermal paste, do u mean replace it on my GPU?

What CPU do you have? IGPU would be in that. Not the 2060.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

never said a rtx 2060 was a IGPU... read..

if your friends card works and yours doesnt its clearly the gpu, like i said above, clean the card, new paste try again if that doesnt work it\s mostlikly bad.
Also you can test your card in your friends pc, if the card still causes issues in your friends pc then you know it's the card for sure.
