I'm building a new pc to take with me to uni but I already have a rig with a 2060 Super from Zotac. I thought about using that one, but family insists that I should keep the one I already have as is for when I come back and build a new one. When looking at gpu's from https://www.skroutz.gr/ (site that i'm buying from) I found out that the prices have "come down" a bit. I was looking at the 3060 and 3060 ti mainly because of the price gap with other gpu's. My main question though is, if anyone has any experience with the Aorus elite cards, like this one: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/30337236/Gigabyte-GeForce-RTX-3060-Ti-8GB-GDDR6-Aorus-Elite-rev-2-0-Κάρτα-Γραφικών-PCI-E-x16-4-0-με-2-HDMI-και-2-DisplayPort-GV-N306TAORUS-E-8GD-2-0.html?from=timeline. I can't really find reviews on it. Main concerns are temps and noise level.

p.s The site that I use is in greek. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks in advance!

The Aorus Elite cards are good.

Depending on what the GPU will be used for, the RX 6700 XT can be faster than a 3060 Ti while being cheaper. Or if you need a good cooler this one should be great, but the Powercolor one is more than enough.

I would listen to your family.  A 2060 is only like a 3 year old GPU so you should still be fine with it.  If you're going to uni you should probably focus on saving your money so you have time to socialize and study as opposed to scrapping away at some bs job to pay for incremental fps gains.  You're gonna have the time of your life their, you'll hardly care about insignificant things like upgrading from a 3 year old GPU to a 2 year old one.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

Well, my family actually wants me to build a new computer to take with me and to keep the "older" one in my hometown for when I visit them, but the advice is much appreciated!!
