So I am in the process of updating my PC. Slowly but surely. Mainly waiting on things like Z97 and possibly if Nvidia is going to make any big releases in Q2. But as I go along, the one thing that I have to stare at almost every day, is my damn speakers. I use them a lot when I'm gaming on my own, which is mostly games like Skyrim, Metro, etc. I currently have Logitech LS21s, and I'm starting to notice all the bad things about them.

I'm looking for something compact ( I have a big desk, but I like to keep it clean and I have plans on putting a ASUS ROG SWIFT on it) but with decent performance. I used to be a Bose guy, but I've moved on after experiencing a few other brands. And my budget for these isn't massive, because I'm going to be using them mainly for solo gameplay and music everything else I do with headphones. I like the Corsair SP2500s, the Audio Engine A5+ is out of my range, and I don't want wireless. So at this point I'm at Creative Labs, Logitech and those goofy looking Harmon Kardon Soundsticks. I'm open to all suggestions.

I hear Creative's Giggaworks series is arguably better than the Bose in the same price range. The T40 is basically a louder T20, so choose accordingly.

Did those rise in price? Because I thought the T20 were like $40 at one point or am I crazy?

Give us a price range and we can recommend, by the looks of it your price range is about $200 though.

Two stereo speakers on sale on Massdrop ATM. This website often drops the Audioengine A2+ as well for about the same price.
