Hi!

Yesterday my moms iPhone randomly died to a black screen and everything i tried including installing a new battery (iTunes, wireless charging, all the kinds of resets ...). Am i safe to assume the logic board randomly died on me? Thats the only explanation i can come up with!

She always treated it like a stick of gold and looks brand new out of the box still. Battery was still at like 85% and still worked perfectly.

Never seen an iPhone go from working perfectly to being a dead brick in one second!

Am i missing somthing here?

thanks for the help!

Has she downloaded any malware?

It is 5 years old. Randomly dying isn’t exactly out of the ordinary for older electronics Though it could be the display that’s conked out or a cable

Wireless charging doesnt do anything either , so it is not a charging cable problem. Malware i also doubt, then is should me able to put it in recovery mode right? The last thing she die was send a text.

I didn’t mean charging dude I mean one of the cables inside the device that power the screen
