Hello everyone

I'm planning on buying a pc with:

Ryzen5 5600 

Rx 6700 (non xt) 

 

Some questions i hope you could help me answer

1/ Most important : does it matter if i get a b450 (50euros in France) instead of a b550 ? 

 

2/ What is the cheapest reliable power supply you would suggest ?(in France) 

Same for the case

Depends on the specific board. For the same tier of motherboard (say B450-A Pro vs. B550-A Pro) the B550 board will be much better for not really that much more money, though dollar for dollar B550 boards don't start to overtake B450 boards in quality until roughly 100 euros. 

 

Realistically you don't need to get a B550 board for this system, it won't help much if at all for gaming performance, it's just that the B550 boards have more features and better VRMs so more options for upgrading in the future. I'd personally go for a B550 board like the B550 Gaming X V2, but wouldn't really fault you for going for a B450 board if you're on a really tight budget, don't need any upgrade options, and don't need many features.

Currently it looks like the cheapest B tier or higher unit 650W and higher (what I'd want for a 6700) is this:

Cheapest is the motherboard box. It's free and it works. 

 

Cheapest "actual" case that I'd use is the Cougar MX330, though I'd probably be shooting for something more like the Fractal Focus G.
