Comparing 3060 ti's

Go to solution Solved by venomtail,

Probs just a mistake. Don't really know any GPU that runs at 14Ghz. Would be the nr1 world-wide performer though if it did.

Are you locked into 3060ti? You can get 6700XT for less that'll get you same fps.

I'm looking into building my first PC (for gaming). I eventually want to get a VR headset. I was browsing different types/brands of 3060 ti's and I came across the following screenshot. Can someone explain to me the sudden jump in Memory Clock Speed in the Gigabyte card? Does Memory Clock Speed make a huge difference in performance when the rest of the specs are the same? (The sudden drastic jump seems scammy to me.)

they're all the same, just grab whichever is cheaper if u don't care about looks

maybe avoid gigabyte, their pcie power socket is a pain to plug in because of their wobbly pins

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I wouldnt just get any card, a higher end one would have better vrms and cooling so that means better lifespan and/or overclocking.

for low end cards like these, it doesnt really matter unless there's a major issue with them

so far, only GDDR6x cards have overheating issue, havent heard of other cards having any particularly huge issue
