Budget (including currency): £650

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: New games, Blender Renders and Revit work.

The current parts I already have are:

I7-7700k

32gb (4x8gb) 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX

RTX 3070

Asus Maximus IX Formula

WD Blue SN550 1TB NVME M.2

Coolermaster MWE 750w

I plan on upgrading to a 5600x, whilst keeping everything else the same. I can do this for roughly £400, is it worth it?

Currently I use the LG Nano 86 50inch 4k120hz tv as my monitor and I do prefer to game at 4k.

7700k is worth upgrading imo

I'd go for the upgrade since all you need is mobo+cpu. Don't forget to check cpu cooler compatibility! Either one of those CPUs would be good. It would depend more on what else (and what games) you plan to do with the computer to know for sure if the 5800x is worth it or not.

Would the 5600x be a good route? Or is it worth spending an extra £80 and getting a 5800x?

the 5800x offers a much nicer performance upgrade than the 5600x and if its only 80 more then I'd go for it. Just make sure your mobo and cooler are good with it
