Meshify 2 cooling differences.

Go to solution Solved by fonzz1e,

minimal diff until u start putting drives after front fans, even then temp diff is only a few degrees

Anyone who has had experience building a PC in the Fractal Meshify 2, do you know what the difference is between how airflow works in its default layout, or the converted layout (where you have additional spaces for 3.5" and 2.5" drive bays?

I only plan to install one 3.5" HDD in my future build, but quite like the additional space it would give for cable management and being able to remove the drive cage at the bottom. But will it have any detrimental affect on airflow and cooling?

I am thinking of removing the drive cage, and have my one 8TB HDD low down.  But I am thinking more for the aesthetic.  If I like the cables being hidden, I wouldn't want it to affect the cooling.

FYI storage mode will be slightly harder to blow out the dust

When I clean the PC, I tend to go with a portable air blower, so that should dislodge things.
