rx 6600 bottleneck

I just upgraded my gtx 1050 ti to a rx 6600 but will my ryzen 5 1600 be a bottleneck for the card?

For 1080p gaming probably yes, assuming it's not the AF model. But we need more info like what use, and if gaming what games, settings and resolution.

depends on the games you are playing. Do you also have some fast ram?

Most likely, Its a 5 years old processor with a 1 year old GPU, the good news is you can upgrade to a latest gen processor without having to change the Motherboard. Just make sure you update the BIOS first, it most likely has the 5 year old firmware.

 

But the only true way of knowing is get a monitoring software like HWinfo and check the usage percentage while playing the games you usually play. if the CPU is constantly at 100% and the GPU isnt close to it then its bottle-necking the system .

As always, the best way to find out is fucking around. But yes, it's highly likely. 3600's are going for not too much these days on ebay. With a bios update you should be good
