About what id recommend

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CppBhk

It usually dosent make any sense to go previous gen Intel at all. The 12400f will crush the 10600k in most aspects.

Cheap aftermarket cooler

Cheapest kit of 32gb ram

Good 1tb storage

You can definitely fit a better gpu into the budget. What resolution are you going to be playing at?

Good case on sale and a good psu

1700 usd

United States

(modded) minecraft, gta online, boneworks.

i5 10600kf (not overclocked)

 Evga Geforce 3060 ti

I have not chosen a motherboard

Noctua NH-U12A

Crucial Ballistix 32 GB 2 x 16 GB DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB

In Win 301 MicroATX Mini Tower

no power supply

windows 10 pro

old pc

would there be a way to build that in a micro case I have a small space

Do you already have the case you listed? Or do you just want to build matx. The case that's listed dosent have a lot of airflow so some components might get starved.

If you want to go down the compact line, I'd recommend the torrent compact. It's a great case that has really good airflow

This would make sure none of your components are thermal throttling.

I've never heard of them either lol. Most ram manufacturers get their dies from the same few makers, Samsung, hynix ect. It's just however much extra they choose to charge with their ihs design and their logo stamped onto it.

Iirc If you want a good bin die just get patriot viper steel which is also cheap.

If you are scared of thermal throttling you could probably fit an AIO in the budget you have now,  that should be good for quite a lot of years

It's more of a concern of airflow since the inwin case has a solid front panel which dosent allow for airflow. The 12400f is a really easy cpu to cool since it dosent run that hot.

This is not always the case.  A lot of solid front panels flow totally fine.  Air pressure generated by fans is usually more than enough so long as ventilation is somewhat present.  People get way too obsessed with the concept of needing mesh front panels.

EDIT:  missed the exact model, but the point still stands as it has intake from the bottom.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

Sure, but just on the safe side airflow is always a good thing, since essentially you only have half of a case that can provide airflow. It's certainly preferred to go down the fractal compact line if op dosent have a case already
