Hello,

I recently bought a custom built PC from a company in my country who builds PCs and since the start i have had a recurring problem i can't seem to solve.

The computer just randomly reboots. No BSOD, no warning, just reboots. It does not matter what i do (game, watch youtube, browse websites). Nothing specifically triggers the error.

What exactely happens: Everything works fine - Black screen for 3-5 sec - Normal startup with TUF Gaming logo - Normal windows sign in

I have opened eventviewer and this is what i get after the reboot happens. (sorry this is in norwegian because i dont have it on english)

This is the log from ealier today and it happened at 18:55:48. Nothing has happened since.

Personally i have never experienced this more than once pr day (in picture 1 @ 15.05.2022 it did not happen three times in one day, i whould have remembered that)

Usually its days between this happening.i whould describe the problem as a once a week thing maybe twice

My specs are:

  • Windows 11 Home 64 bit (21H2)
  • TUF GAMING B550-PRO (BIOS version 2803, latest)
  • AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (Not OC'd) With Noctua NH-U12A
  • 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro Black RAM (3200MHz XMP Profile: none)
  • WD BLACK SN750 SE 1TB NVMe SSD boot drive
  • Kingston A400 2.5" SSD 240GB
  • Corsair TX750M (750W 80+ gold)
  • Palit GeForce RTX 3080 GamingPro (before Palit GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Dual LHR)

I have upgraded and made sure the cooling is good and there is no overheating components as far as i know.

Earlier two days ago i got the 3080 and i must add that this error has happened twice since i got it, but the same thing happened with the use of a 3060ti which requires alot less power.

Is there anything i can do or check, any tips for a lost guy?

First thing to be would be to remove all but one GPU and see if it still does it.  Any reason you have a HD7870 installed in this system as well as a 3080?  Mixing AMD and Nvidia GPU's can cause problems and if you are running everything under full load you might have power problems, the HD7870 had a TDP of 170watts, the 3080 can draw 320watts, the 5800x can draw 105watts.

Do you hear a click when the system powers off?
