RAM usage compared to HDD

Hey!
Long time luerker first time poster.

I have been playing around with programs running from a NAS, runnig programs the same way you run some linux distros-in RAM, why not run all games and programs of NAS.. IF you have the RAM and networking... i´m able to run programs like "packet tracer 8.1.1" which is supposed to run "bare matal" but runs fine one a NAS so why not run everything of NAS and have the "desierd" reduncy

im sorry for broken english

That's effectively how running a local Steam Cache server works - some kind of server provides network attached storage that all networked computers can access. So long as the storage is fast enough and the application you're using doesn't have weird problems reading files from a network share, it's a great way to centralize storage of files multiple users may need to access together.

So yeah it towuld work but im running a loot of .exe that requiers specik network licenses like solidworks, i have considerd running thin-clintes but it seems like  shooting your self in the shoulder, scinece i get commputers worth                  10k swd(thinkpad L390 y2)for school.

So i need somthing to stremline work and studing, and midigate cheating and my solutions is NAS  where im "GOD"
