This is my first build in a couple decades. Everything was going fine, completed the build no issues, until I noticed ports were crucial millimeters off from io shield. So I loosen all screws. Three won't come out though, but board is loose. Fine, I'll take the board out and figure those out. Won't come up. Standoffs seem to have come up with two, but the third (nearest bottom of shield) seems both jammed in standoff, AND stuck in case. Board appears to pivot on it. Cannot push or pull toward front of case or lift up snd out. Can't pop out shield. Can't get other two screws back in to just life with it.

Board came with only four screws that looked like motherboard screws to me, a bunch of round topped screws of same threading by eye, and the problem screws are some of each. Also came with some screws that were too big to fit at all.

Board is Asus Prime x570 P, case is NZXT H510 flow.

I'm dead tired and am going to bed. I will check for replies in the morning. Thanks.

the right screws coem with your pc case, nto your motherboard, the screws might be in the HDD cage or somewhere

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

Do you ever get a reply that you just can't figure out a way to respond to that isn't brutally sarcastic? Well this is the best I can do: yes, I found the screws in the HDD cage. If I hadn't, I wouldn't be having a problem with screws being stuck. I guess when I was sorting all the various little baggies into the motherboard box so I didn't loose them I forgot which part they came with. But the point is I had them.
