Hey there, since I even originally put my PC together I've noticed constant stutters and performance issues even though I have a pretty decent machine. For example sometimes I can't even run Fortnite on minimum settings without constant frame spiking from 144 all the way to 30 and then back up again. I think I've finally narrowed it down to a cooling issue after realizing that Speccy shows my parts running pretty dang hot, I've had my drive just completely fail and die before and I only now realized it might've been heat damage. So what I'm really asking is how the heck should I reconfigure my fans? Right now I have 4 case fans, two in the front, one in the back, and one on top. Both front and back fans are intake and top fan is exhaust(assuming the logo shows a forward face). They're also all no name fans with no software to adjust speed or anything like that. should I turn around any of them or is another part causing problems?

Please tell what the exact temps was that Speccy reported, also what case you are using, and take a picture of your PC. It will help greatly.

And your PC specs btw

the temps I don't remember and to be safe I don't want to run anything in the meantime. but all temps were marked red/too hot by Speccy.

Closest case is Zalman S3 TG ATX, the actual case I just can't find anymore but this model seems to be pretty much exactly the same.

Also case looks way dustier than it is, dust has been cleaned out just need to wipe off the glass, and pls don't make fun of my cable management I was lazy 😞

Just wait until you see my cable management on my desk. It's inexistant xD. I don't ever see it though so it never bothers me but many YT'ers like Jaystwocents would be infuriated by my cable management 🙂

If you are not willing to test temperatures with a game or benchmark, it's going to be hard to help you. We need to know what the exact temps are for your CPU and GPU, to know what is causing the framedrops and stutters. Also, your PC will just thermal throttle. A quick rise to 100C does not harm anything. Just close whatever game or benchmark you have running.
