Hi, this is going to be my first build since 2016. I'll leave my old pc to my brother, so everything's gonna have to be new. I am currently living in Turkey, but a relative of mine is going to come to Turkey from Germany in June. As much as I wanna get the pc sooner, I also want the new lineup for CPUs and GPUs. So I'll buy the pc parts at 2 different times, One in June and the other is whenever the next parts released.

I tried to build a pc on pcpartpicker, but I don't know how good the parts are, and I also have no clue on what parts to wait for and what parts to buy now. I tried to go for a mostly white themed build. And if possible, go for the newer tech like ddr5.

Budget (including currency): ~3000€ (can overspend a bit if there is a significant performance possibility)

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly 4k Gaming and some Photoshop

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Case, monitor and the peripherals are not part of the budget and purchased. I wanna play at 4K 144hz. I'll buy the first portion of parts this month, and the other is something like November or December. At first, I was planning to buy AIO, MOBO, RAM, NVME SSD, PSU and Fans but that can change.

Here's the pcpartpicker list link: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/Gk8mDq

All suggestions are welcome. Thank you for checking this post out and tolerating my poor English!

I wouldn't recommend that. First of all, what if one of the components you purchase now... doesn't work in November or December? You'll be way outside of any kind of return policy, so you'll end up spending double on a component or two. IMO you're way overthinking the build. If you have the funds now, then I would recommend buying and building now.

There's literally always something new around the corner. That "RTX 4080" that you're planning to buy, may have a newer RTX 4080Ti or SUPER 3-6 months after that graphics card comes out.

I wouldn't bother with DDR5 either. For gaming, the price difference isn't there right now for that to be even remotely worth it.

Well, i don't wanna be such a burden for them. Carrying everything could be somewhat hard and heavy right?

Thanks for your opinion!

I mean the moment they have to get a case with them it's not going to get much worse than that. Basically all components can fit in the case already then and save the most room.

The reason for doing this is price I assume? Also how is this relative traveling because liquid cooling is a NO GO on a plane. Also that case is HUGE and will not fit into normal luggage.

Best idea would be to get a fully built system and to just ship it or if this is by car travel with it that way.

You're right. But I'll be in my home city in the summer, so I can use my old PC. And then it'll already be September. Wouldn't it be better to just wait 2 months?

Also is this system (https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/TfZHGL) is ok for things like Elden Ring or RDR2 at 4k 144fps?

Well, no, I got the case here in Turkey. So they won't need to bring that. But that liquid cooling thing is a great advice. I really didn't think that through.
