I just recently got a new CPU and MOBO to finish off my new pc, but when I went to plug in my SSD and HDD I was met with a black screen and blinking cursor. So, I just plugged in a different drive (ill refer to this one as the new SSD.) with windows on it, and it worked. Then I tried to plug in my HDD with the new SSD, and again I was met with a black screen and blinking cursor. I tried plugging in the old SSD with the new one, and it booted up. But couldn't access the drive.

I have no clue what's happening. Please help me :]

Let me get this straight... you have three drives in total.

  1. New SSD (with Windows on it)
  2. Old SSD
  3. Old HDD

Which drive(s) have Windows installed on it?

I would also say when you connect your drives, make sure they show up in the BIOS, and the correct boot drive is selected.
