250w psu

my friends was asking for any gpus that could handle only 250 watts psu and i found him a gtx 1050 ti, is that gpu ok with that psu if not then is a gt 1030 good?

i'm assuming this is some sort of SFF prebuilt? basicly anything that only takes power from the pcie slot should be fine.

Depends what brand of 1050 ti, because some require an external power cable. The most wattage a 1050 ti could pull would probably be 100 watts, but you *should* be fine
