hi, is there some kind of 3rd party log viewing program that is more "comprehensible"? i was reading, or trying to read, the log file why my pc crashed, and i had no idea what the log file says. i'm sure it's in english, but my pea-sized brain requires something like "hey dawg, your pc crashed because your gpu overheat." or something like that.

please advise.

thanks.

There's no such thing. Sadly. For BSODs you have couple of readers and I usually just Google the error codes for more info.

Posting "symptoms" to Troubleshooting section here is also good option. Plus you will learn what causes what in the way of troubleshooting.

thanks for the reply.

i do want to learn and understand the error codes, but it's just frustrating reading the "explanations" like a different language.

Event manager logs are something you need to get actual training to read. Usually that's last place to look answers from when solving any issues.
